This post is part 3 of 5 in a short series of articles which have been created tell you how build huge amounts of leverage into your Multilevel Marketing campaign, whether or not you are building your Multi-level Marketing business Online, or using conventional methods. As any successful Business owner will tell you, the real key to attaining financial freedom in any business is by leveraging your personal time and efforts, putting systems or people to do the job.
In this 3rd article you will learn how to develop and implement an effective system to build your Multi-level Marketing business offline. Although there’s lots of hype on the internet today about building your Multi Level Marketing business on the net, there is still huge potential for building offline as well. Multi-level Marketing guru, ‚Big Al‘ Schreider once said: „When everyone else is zigging, you need to be zagging!“
So, if you’ve chosen to build On the web then why should you be considering developing an offline system to begin with? The answer is to give yourself and all of your downline distributors more options and choices for building their business. Your preference might be Internet marketing, whereas your business partners may prefer face-to-face marketing. If you only have systems and training to support Online techniques then you will isolate a massive portion of your team and your prospective customers. Bear in mind, your goal is to have people working for you and this will only happen if you are willing to train and support them.
Hopefully your personal sponsor will have the right offline system in place that will work for both you and your team. But if not, what should your prospecting system actually start with? Should you guide with your products, or your opportunity?
My suggestion is to lead with neither of these! My recommendation is actually to guide with the business, not the products, or your opportunity! Why? Well, if everyone you speak to gains a knowledge of how consumers and distributors may both benefit from Multi-level Marketing, then you are far more likely to get them as a client or business partner. If they choose not to join you then they’ll still have a more positive view of the market, that will increase your chances of getting referrals from them, or sponsoring them later on.
By leading with the industry you can also train people about MLM even before you consider them for your opportunity. At this point you are just sharing information about the business to see if they’re a fit for your business and team. You will experience much less resistance and you may keep your posture as you’re actually assessing their suitability rather than pitching an opportunity.
If an individual doesn’t respond properly to the industry then don’t waste your time talking to them about your business. Describe them that your business may not be right for them and move ahead! But, if they’re receptive to the business, you can ask them if they would like to find out more about the Network Marketing business that you are working on.
This subtle change in your approach may have a huge effect on the amount of time you waste speaking with uninterested potential customers, helping you to focus your time and energy on prospective customers who are seriously interested in building an income with a Network Marketing company. Everyone you speak to will want an additional stream of income, but not everybody will be willing to dedicate effort and time to building a MLM business, therefore keep this in mind while prospecting to stay away from the time wasters and increase your conversion rates!
In part four you will learn how to modify your approach for a web-based advertising campaign. The principles stay the same, but the process requires subtle modification for the best results.
