Michael Clayton: The ethics of a law firm’s „fixer“ (Clooney) are set to the test while one of its tough lawyers (Wilkinson) has a nervous break down during the depositions of a huge class action suit. This film is a rock solid thriller. Cast includes George Clooney, Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton, Sydney Pollack, Michael O’Keefe, Ken Howard, David Lansbury, Denis O’Hare, and Austin Williams. Dracula: Farfetched, bewildering story of current time’s successor of Dr. Van Helsing (Cushing) fighting lately revitalized vampire (Lee). Cast includes Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Stephanie Beacham, Michael Coles, Christopher Neame, and Caroline Munro. (100 minutes, 1992)

Belle of the 90’s: Mae struts, harmonizes ‚My Old Flame,“ and heats up a gallery of admirers in entertaining illustration of Western humor. Cast includes Mae West, Roger Pryor, Johnny Mack Brown, Warren Hymer, and Duke Ellington Orchestra. (73 minutes, 1934)

The Eiger Sanction: Pseudo James Bond misfire, often accidentally ludicrous. Exhilarating mountain climbing scenes don’t make up for films numerous defects and ungodly magnitude. Jack Cassidy as gay, dangerous snoop gives the only artistic performing. Cast includes Clint Eastwood, George Kennedy, Vonetta McGee, Jack Cassidy, Thayer David, Heidi Bruhl, Reiner Schoene, and Brenda Venus. (128 minutes, 1975)

A Bullet for Sandoval: Ex-Confederate Hilton plots reprisal on don Borgnine, the grand daddy of Hilton’s child, for indirectly causing the toddler to die. Cast includes Ernest Borgnine, George Hilton, Alberto De Mendoza, and Gustavo Rojo. (91 minutes, 1970)

Belle Starr: Advanced Tierney miscast as infamous lady outlaw in gradually paced account of her lawbreaker occupation. Cast includes Randolph Scott, Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, John Sheppard (Shepperd Strudwick), and Elizabeth Patterson. (87 minutes, 1941)

Rambling Rose: Evocative story set in 1930s Georgia, with Dem as an oversexed senseless gal who comes to work for a ladylike family headed by Duvall and Ladd. Vibrant, pleasantly detailed, and well performed, with numerous delightful astonishments during the voyage. Cast includes Laura Dem, Rohert Duvall, Diane Ladd, Lukas Haas, John Heard, Kevin Conway, Rohert J. Burke, Lisa Jakub, and Evan Lockwood. (112 minutes, 1991)
