Best Ways To Outsource SEO And SEM

SEO Training – finding good links and getting link juice

Contrary to what the popular media might have you believe, men and women have already been having conversations on-line before the arrival of Facebook.

One of the most common methods of interaction and one which is actually blooming right now is the ‚forum‘. Forums are basically discussion boards where folks could begin a ‚thread‘ and other people add to it, or perhaps only start a big debate about the topic at hand. Because of the enormous number of topics in the world as well as the particular massive quantity of individuals with access to the World wide web, there can be an almost unlimited amount of forums which you could be a member of, a few becoming more popular than some.

Boards can certainly be remarkably worthwhile to your SEO campaign since they may achieve two roles within your mission. First of all, they can be a wonderful location to acquire one-way links through (and back links assist our search engine ranking) and second of all, as a result of friendly conversation you may possibly acquire brand new sales opportunities and additionally brand-new potential customers.

Nevertheless attaching backlinks to your own community forum messages can be often a big ’no‘ in a lot of boards, so much like social networking, you have to become a little touch wise about it.

One area of the site that most forums get in common is the ’signature‘. This can be a portion of code that gets added to each post you make and in many cases you possibly can add back links to it. A word of caution though – a few boards scowl on including signatures ahead of time and it’s well worth taking part in the forum first and getting a little bit of a name for yourself ahead of contributing any. Actually many boards put in force a principle whereby you have to have posted a specific quantity of remarks before they’ll allow you to include any kind of signature to your content.

What you need to give some thought to can be that if you end up getting involved in any specific community, you’re essentially a visitor on their system and if you do anything that goes against their particular rules or integrity, they are quite inside of their rights to remove you from the forum. There is certainly also another thing to be cautious about – the ’no-follow‘ tag.

The The web world of boards is certainly split just about consistently between folks that adore visitors and their own hyperlinks, along with individuals who don’t. It’s a chicken and egg issue simply because individuals who would likely actively support you to place links upon their internet sites will end up receiving plenty of guests and for that reason a good amount of shortcuts themselves – increasing recognition, however they would also get an awful lot of spam.

However those who can’t stand you leaving links, or perhaps just make it really difficult to do so will lose out on loads of targeted traffic. At the end of the day, it really is dependent upon the subject of the site and whether it’s monetised in any way. Some of those that don’t like you leaving links will sometimes give each link an attribute that was introduced only a few years ago, the ’nofollow‘.

By adding the nofollow attribute to a link, it informs the spiders that it shouldn’t be followed and shouldn’t get ‚link juice‘.

Now, many SEO experts disagree as to whether this actually means a link using ’nofollow‘ is completely pointless and some will show evidence that shows that it does actually make a difference and shouldn’t be discounted completely, however most will agree that if you’re going to look for links, make more of an effort on those that don’t use this attribute.

You see, it’s really not worth being too picky about these sites because those who don’t allow links probably have a greater value. They are less likely to be full of spam and therefore worth more in general social networking. Also, it could be that they allow links after you’ve given a bit back to the community.

So there you go, this link building lark isn’t as clean-cut and easy to quantify as many would have you think, but it is worth investigating and you could potentially get yourself not only some decent links to affect your rankings, but you may make a lot of worthwhile connections.

Considering Part P Electrical In The UK

Electrical power is without doubt one of the most significant features of modern-day living. All of us generally need to have expert electricians, for both domestic houses along with business. Electric certification may lead to a wide variety of positions, in accordance with an person’s training or expertise. A meaningful report compiled via Summit Skills recorded that, in 2009, there were an accepted total of 613,000 individuals employed within the electric sector in Great Britain. And so, with a great demand for experienced employees, have you thought to reap the rewards and grow into a domestic electrician yourself?

A contributing factor a lot of persons re-train as electrical engineers is because they aspire to become self-employed. Certainly, it is reasonable to reveal that a good number of older electrical trainees proceed this way. It’s relatively intelligent when you look at precisely how much work there is, principally within the household segment. Truth be told, there are almost always people which learn in order to perform part-time electrical projects, the instant their current occupation is a little light. Plus, many students are individuals who are probably in to working at their own home installations, and would have to labor within our legislated rules.

In accordance with all of the trades, reputable domestic electricians get a ton of their jobs through word of mouth recommendations provided by pleased clients. Which means together with being excellent in your occupation, always stay polite and helpful. Good manners unquestionably do help make a big difference.

From the commercial perspective, currently employed domestic electrical engineers will often work a 37 hour week, as well as possible overtime during the weekends. They may expect to have a normal salary of twenty six thousand pounds per annum when taking the British Isles in general. Home-based electrician trades-people, inside their own small business, will be shrewd to not cling too strictly to the 9-5 routine, because they may bring home even more profits if they’re sufficiently flexible. Needless to say, they’ve got to supply their very own tools and transport etc. on top.

Am I the best sort of character for this particular job? On the grounds that electricians utilize workplace tools, and usually are fairly hands-on virtually all of their time, you ought to be the practical type. As basic safety is vital, you should be logical as well as well regimented. Simply because lots of your occupation will probably be unaccompanied, it is advisable to be content to work on your own. Your balance must be acceptable, together with your color vision and overall fitness level. Moreover, in the end, in the event that becoming your own boss is the aspiration, you have to remain motivated and confident!

C&G in addition to EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd) have always been the trade qualification organizations to be familiar with. Quite a few people (primarily young people fresh out of school) also develop NVQ certification through industrial placements. Overall, this type of education requires quite a lot of yrs to complete. Adult career-changers frequently look at much more condensed programmes that will fit around their own regular responsibilities. This sort of coursework sets up applicants generally for domestic assignments, and therefore removes the requirement of the much more lengthy NVQ’s or SVQ’s. Adult career-changers need the most effective value for money, in addition to a lot more overall flexibility. Students start with good, industry-authorized electrician’s certificates that they could rapidly use within homes everywhere.

Household re-training such as that just portrayed probably will take an individual hundreds of hrs, distributed evenly throughout whichever period you decide on. Manufacture the financial results which you’re in the market for by just making a new start right away.

Although course details may fluctuate somewhat, just about every level 2 EAL Domestic Installation Technician program will certainly adopt a validated path. Re-training will certainly incorporate installs, safe practices procedures, electrical circuitry and rewiring around households, as well as testing circuits. Since all people carrying out household electrician jobs now should be ‚Part P‘ certified, your tuition may give you an understanding of what is expected. The 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regs is an additional requirement for electrician staff. Presently there are a lot of additional C&G cert’s you may aim for, so that you can broaden the spectrum of tasks that can be done.

The Basics Of Web Design

Many people love the idea of having a web site, but get scared when they hear the phrase „web design“. After all, don’t you need to be an artist with years of computer programming skill to make a great web page? Thankfully, making a good site is not as hard as it sound once you know the basics.

Before you start working on the pretty part of the site, you need to work on your site’s content. After all, people are going to want to visit your page for more than just pretty pictures! Grab a sheet of paper and make a list of the main areas that you think others will want to visit. „About me“, „home“, and „links“ are usually good pages to get your started.

Once you know what you want on your web site, it is time to start organizing! People like it when it’s easy to tell what is where but do not like a flood of links to click. If several similar things go together, it usually is OK to put them on the same page. For example, „About me“ could also tell your hobbies and favorite music instead of having separate pages for your music, your hobbies and you.

Once you have planned out what is going on your web page and how it is organized, it is time to design your site’s layout. The three most important things are ease of use, visibility, and compatibility.

Visibility means that your page is easy to read. Choose two contrasting complimentary colors for your pages. It is important to make sure the colors are very different in shades to make it easy to read. Usually light text on a dark background or dark text on a light background works the best. Also avoid using background images as it makes reading difficult.

Ease of use means that it is easy for people visiting your page to find what they want. All the main pages you came up with earlier should be clearly linked on an easy to read menu that will be in the same place on every one of your pages. If you have any sub pages, a site map linked in the footer of your web page is also a great idea.

Last but not least is compatibility. How well does your website function across multiple browsers? Will something not work in Firefox or cause a slower computer to crash? Generally flash is very bad for compatibility, so avoid using it to make your web site. Using proper W3C compliant code will greatly help your compatibility, so do not be shy to keep yourself updated.

As you can see, web design is not as scary as it sounds. With a little planning and care taken towards visibility, ease of use, and compatibility your web site will be just fine. Do not be afraid to try to go out there and make your site yourself, there is plenty of help out there if you get „stuck“. Have fun with your web page, the world is waiting to hear from you!

IVR: Great ROI Time of Economic Uncertainty

In a time of economic uncertainty, when managers are being asked to do more with less, and when cost cutting has become the norm, the ability for IVR (Interactive Voice Response) to assist in accomplishing these objectives has never been more obvious.

Managers are being forced to make difficult choices between high-touch experience delivered by a live agent and low-cost automation delivered by IVR. It is well known that to process a call using a human agent can cost 5-10 times what it costs to answer a similar call using IVR. In the past, managers have chosen to deliver an enhanced customer experience over a much lower-cost automated option. So when it comes time to slash costs, IVR can play a key role. On the other hand its very important not to upset the balance between automation and customer experience. The answer is not to shift every human interaction to an automated interaction, or to use IVR to make it more difficult for customers to speak to a higher-cost live agent.

I would suggest that you start by taking inventory of all your customer interactions. Not only the obvious ones. Your inventory will allow you to prioritize by value contribution, revenue contribution, and cost of each interaction, and pinpoint where IVR can assist you to cut cost, and not significantly upset the balance.

Recently, I received a call from the director of marketing at a company in the health care sector, needing to cut costs by finding an alternative to live agents handling their Diabetes testing kit sampling program. As a sampling program, there was no linked revenue to the call, and the value to the caller was mostly in receiving delivery of the kit on time, which was advertised to over 2.5 million people. Although this was a highly successful program, based on response, fell under the cuts to the marketing budget. The company recognized that the calls could be handled using IVR, however as an untested alternative they wanted to run a short term pilot to measure the impact to the success of the program.

To minimize the risk the company opted for an outsourced IVR approach, which provided financial flexibility by not having to make a long term commitment. In addition, with reduction in the IT budget, outsourcing the implementation and hosting was a perfect match, allowing the company to control costs, and provide commitment flexibility.

Perhaps when the economy recovers, this company and many others alike will move back the high touch approach of live agents, however as hard economic times call for tough measures, IVR is playing a key role and helping managers accomplish their objectives.

7 Bad Things Seo Clients Do

There are clients SEOs love to have and then there are those other kind. Every SEO has them and very few SEOs can be so selective as to weed out every client that isn’t the „perfect client“ (and those that do generally work only for themselves.)

Being the perfect client may not be attainable, but you can certainly avoid being the bad client nobody wants. Here are seven things bad SEO clients do:

Unreasonable expectations It’s not always the client’s fault when there are unreasonable expectations. Sometimes the SEOs propagate misinformation in order to get the sale. Other times once they get involved in the site things look far different than they originally appeared. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure their expectations are in check with reality, despite any claims of the SEO. This is especially true when it comes to overall expectations vs. monetary investment. There is only so much that can be done with the time and money allotted.

Expectations should be closely guarded with plenty of room for moving the goalpost, depending on the situation. Bad SEO clients expect results outside the bounds of what is likely and refuse to temper those as things change.

Don’t return calls or emails There is nothing worse than an SEO campaign being slowed down or halted by lack of client communication. If your SEO is asking for feedback, there is a reason for it. If they are waiting on you to provide information it’s possible that your campaign will remain at a standstill until they get it. Make it a point to answer all communications from your SEO as quickly as possible. The only person that suffers from holding things up is you!

Clients need to be engaged with the marketing process. Bad SEO clients can often be their own worst enemy and can impair the marketing efforts by not returning calls and emails to the SEO.

Forwarding SEO spam emails Why is it that SEO clients often have trouble with recommendations proposed by their SEO but whenever they get a spam email they forward it asking, „why aren’t you doing this?“ This is the ultimate example of not trusting the SEO. You’re putting your faith in a complete stranger who’s spamming every site they can rather than trusting that your SEO knows what they are doing. If your site can’t be found, did you ever wonder how the spammers found you?

Clients need to be involved in the campaign development process, but bad SEO clients forward every SEO spam email they get. This forces the SEO to take time away from actual SEO work to explain why the email is wrong, why things aren’t as the email says they are, and to defend their work. That’s hours of wasted time.

Overwriting SEO’s work This is a personal pet peeve. SEOs go though a lot of research and effort before making any changes to a client’s site. Whether the changes are a major reworking of a page, or a few minor edits to a title tag, they all have reason and merit. The quickest way to keep an SEO from being successful with your optimization campaign is to overwrite their changes with your own. Fortunately, the CodeMonitor tool will notify the SEOs within 24 hours any time a monitored page changes (we monitor all our client’s optimized pages.) However it’s still up to the client to ensure such overwriting doesn’t happen.

To be successful the SEOs work must remain in tact. Bad SEO client’s don’t take the time to ensure they or their team work only from the live SEOd version of the site.

Argue every recommendation I once had a client that went item by item arguing every recommendation we made. Calls to action? Too lowbrow for his audience. Using keywords? Too pedantic. It’s important for the client to seek to understand the reasoning behind the changes, but you can’t expect the SEO to improve your website’s exposure if you are tying their hands in their efforts. If you don’t agree with what the SEO is doing, give them the rope to hang themselves. Track the results, if conversions drop then undo it. But at least give it a chance to perform.

Clients need to understand the value of what the SEO is doing. Bad SEO clients question every change forcing the SEO to exhaust hours of time explaining and defending every decision.

Try to out SEO the SEO I’m a strong proponent of the client being involved and having an understanding of the overall SEO campaign. However there comes a point where the client has to let the SEO do their job. The SEO was hired because they have a skill set and area of expertise, presumably one the client themselves don’t have. The client can’t assume they know more about SEO than the SEO does and must give the SEO freedom to implement SEO their way.

Working with the SEO with brainstorming and strategy development is a good thing. Bad SEO clients push for every SEO tactic they learn about or supplement their own SEO knowledge into the campaign.

Call/email all the time Communication is essential to a well-oiled optimization machine, but too much of anything is a bad thing. Clients who call the SEO up on a regular bases because they want to talk about this, that or the other, are not doing themselves any favors. Whether they want to talk strategy, success, implementation or whatever, these communications must be done in an orderly fashion. The SEO should not be expected to field regular unwarranted calls from the client that suck up the time they would otherwise be investing in that client’s SEO campaign.

Clients should be interested in their campaign but not at the expense of the campaign itself. Bad SEO clients spend more time talking to the SEO than the SEO has available, preventing them from doing the job they were hired for.

SEOs love to work with good clients. Consequently, good SEO clients get better results than bad SEO clients. Bad SEO clients suck up the SEO’s time, create distractions from the campaign and prevent the SEO from doing the things that get the results the client ultimately wants. Ensuring that you are not a bad SEO client also ensures that the SEO can focus on your success.

Internet Marketing Is So Much Fun

Search Engine Optimization. Doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, does it? Even when you call it SEO, it still just sounds so… technical. Thankfully, SEO doesn’t have to be some sort of dreadful thing.

Once you learn a bit about SEO, you might find that SEO can be a lot of fun. Search engine optimization is essentially the practice of using keywords (the words people type into Google or other search engines) in the text of your website, articles and other material online. Let’s put it this way ? say that you have a website which sells camping tents. If you want people to be able to find your site easily by using search engines, you’ll want to optimize your website for the words and phrases which people use when searching the web for camping tents.

SEO doesn’t have to be terribly complicated and you can have fun doing it. The secret is to look at optimizing your text as something fun rather than a chore. Once you practice a little and gain some skill at it, you’ll find that it’s something you enjoy doing. So what can you do to make SEO fun? Make a game of it. Here’s how ? start by just writing down everything you’d like to say on your website. Don’t worry too much about your keywords yet, just write! After you get your first draft down, go through it and identify all of the keywords and key phrases you’ve already included. Next, go back and try to work in other keywords which you didn’t include the first time. One trick is to try replacing pronouns like „it“ that refer to a keyword. Make sure that your text still makes sense though!

Of course while you are having fun with SEO, don’t go too crazy with it. Remember that too much SEO can be as bad as none at all. While it may look okay to you, it will make the text overdone. Usually you’ll find that it is recommended to have about 1-2% keyword density within your articles. Basically this means that for every 100 words that you write, you should have 1-2 keywords in that 100 words. So, if you write an article that is 400 words long, then you should have anywhere from 4-8 keywords in the entire article. When you are trying to hit the right amount of keywords, make it into a game and see how close you can get to the right amount the very first time that you try.

Yes, SEO needs to be well balanced, but it is nowhere near as difficult as so many think it will be. If you take the time to be well informed and you work at it, you can make SEO fun to work on. Just make sure that you do your SEO like you would chocolate chip cookies. You need enough chocolate chips to have great flavor, but if you have too many, you will have a huge mess. Remember this when working on SEO. Make it fun, keep it balanced, and you’ll find that the SEO just falls into place for you.

Slimming Revealed – Tips To Lose 30 Pounds

Are you aware that our behaviour patterns very often reflect those of our friends? The theory is that we turn out to be very much like the individuals we hang around with. For the most part this is interpreted as we hold the same belief structure or values; we quite often support the same sports clubs and political parties as our friends, for instance.

Lately though, studies are claiming that we will have more tendency to be overweight if we hang around with others who are overweight. According to a recent news article, we have a tendency to consume more when eating with heavier people who we know well. A US research team looked at kids eating habits. They found that the heavier ones ate more when they were with their heavier pals than when they were with their slimmer friends.

Everyone in the group actually devoured more when they were in the company of friends, regardless of their size. But pairing up overweight friends led to the biggest consumption of all. The study was undertaken by researchers from the State University of New York at Buffalo. It highlighted the role friends play in influencing how much youngsters eat.

Candidly it’s no great revelation that many ate more when in the company of friends. That would doubtless be the same if adults had been surveyed. What’s more, as our friends don’t usually challenge what we do, we assume that means they condone our behaviour. Subconsciously we’re placing the permission ball in someone else’s court.

The researchers observed a whole mix of young people for this study. They were split into groups of two friends, or groups of two strangers. All were furnished with nibbles, fruit and vegetables. They also had various games to keep them occupied.

All the ones who teamed up with a friend ate a larger amount than the rest. However it was the pairs who were both overweight who consumed the most in total. And the variations were considerable, as shown below.

Nearly seven hundred and fifty calories per person was consumed by the larger pairs of friends. Heavy kids with standard weight chums ate just under 450 cals, and standard weight kids ate approx 500 cals whatever weight their mate was. This influence extends to smoking and drinking as well with young teens.

A child’s social network then is significant in determining their eating habits. What this means is kids can be influenced to eat less as well as more. Hence the necessity to educate the young.

I know if you are a web marketer and you’re still building somebody else list you are so far behind the times. Have you notice I’ve not even debated the MLM portion, well lets go on with creating a company with just the services, imagine just doing selling the website hosting for a reduction of $5 bucks a month and you have one hundred customers, this won’t be hard as the average person is now desiring his very own domain and website hosting. In addition imagine selling your internet site hosting services to the local economy as you see you cannot do this with your average MLM offerings.

This product is sellable to network marketers, web marketers and local business owners. This is really a world of opportunity, and most MLM companies can’t instantly operate in other countries as there are laws governing where a MLM can operate this usually creates a watered down MLM business which I say in a positive manner. Search Engine Optimisation Revealed

SEO is essentially a constantly evolving study of what factors the search engines take into account when they ‚rank‘ you in their natural search listings. Natural or ‚organic‘ lists form the main body of a SE page. Paid listings are separate to natural listings. The paid listings are typically in a yellow section at the top of the page, and in a column down the right hand side. The ’natural‘ listings are straight from the main index. They show sites listed in the order of importance and relevance – according to their algorithm.

Plainly our aim is to get our site up with the top ones. We’ve little chance of being seen if we’re way down the list on page 7. Only those in the Search Engine’s ‚inner circle‘ know all the factors used to position sites. It isn’t something they publicise to the rest of us!

As a result, we now have a very skilled bunch of professionals focused on optimisation. On the Search Engine side you have upgraded technological patents being regularly filed. (To cause as much uncertainty as possible!) On the other hand, there’s Search Engine Optimisation. This utilises a series of tests and measurements to determine the most pertinent factors.

Search Engine Optimisation deals with both on-page and off-page issues. A certain amount of page ranking weight can be attributed to off web geographic influences. SEO can’t control these though. (We will cover off page optimisation in a separate article.)

‚On-Page‘ SEO

Making changes directly to website pages to make them more Search Engine friendly is what On-Page SEO is all about. This website configuration is fairly simple. It involves such factors as – Internal-linking, using H1 & H2 header tags, seeding keywords at the correct density (and in appropriate places,) and to some lesser degree, using meta-tags.

It doesn’t matter if all that sounds very confusing. In reality, this is very easy to control, but not wildly effective. Indeed, it could be said to basically not have much influence at all. Previously we could make an impact with On Page configurations. Not any longer though.

The only time that ‚on-page‘ becomes important is when you have taken care of ‚off-page‘ and have a lot of inbound ‚back-links‘. At that stage, Internal Linking and some On Page manipulation can be beneficial.

A Bit of Advice… A phrase that shows vast numbers of results should not be your first SEO target. For instance, if you typed into a Search Engine the term Car insurance, seventy million results would be listed for the UK alone. It’s not rocket science to realise that competing in this area wouldn’t be productive.

Although… When I search for „Southampton Car Insurance“, it comes down to a more manageable 300K. (If car insurance in Southampton was my business!) A big number still it seems – but actually quite a small number when it comes to web searches.

The extended phrase makes all the difference. In reality, getting ranked for car insurance would cost a fortune! The competition would be fierce. Not a sensible option for anyone.

A precise description is much more valuable to us. They’re known as long tail searches, because they’ll have several keywords. If your market’s very competitive, you could be selecting seven word phrases. They’re usually around three or four.

We normally recommend performing SEO on phrases that return less than half a million results at the start. (In some cases, we may go with a higher count – if the current page 1 results are not well SEO’d.) In time our back links will grow. Then we’ll get a better rating on some of the bigger yielding phrases. If we put in enough effort, we can go after those big phrases in 3-12 months time. This line of attack starts with more focus. We’re after the people who are really looking to buy, so we go for phrases that convert well.

You should also build back links to various different pages – and not just your website’s homepage. The Search Engines like this – especially Google. A good example would be product group or category pages. It’s worth driving specific search terms to these pages – they often have links to lots of other product pages. Do not simply build links to your website’s home page. The SE’s are becoming increasingly interested in how a site’s individual pages are listed.

Creating Smart LMS Visuals for E-Learning Courseware

E-learning course developers preparing content for migration to learning management system are typically faced with a host of choices to make. Besides the more practical concerns such as navigation and deciding which tools to employ, there are also aesthetic choices. Namely, you’ll have to make choices regarding the course’s style and design. Your courseware logo is just one element in the design–but it’s an important one.

Is a courseware logo really important, you might wonder? True, a logo is somewhat like a book cover; ultimately, it doesn’t mean too much. And of course, in order to prosper in a competitive e-learning market, your courseware absolutely must be robust and well developed, interactive, and based on your own expertise and experience. On the other hand, let’s face it: phrases like „Don’t judge a book by its cover“ don’t exist for no reason. The truth is that we do make fast, visually-cued judgments all the time. These little judgments aid tremendously in our decision-making process. This goes for everything from what shampoo or cereal to buy to more critical decisions like a romantic partner, or, well, education. A unique and visually appealing logo may help someone decide between your courseware and another.

In this way, your logo is a tiny but potent symbol of your e-learning courseware. It represents the learning content and helps facilitate customer recognition.

Logos can be a simple name or logotype or an ideograms (visual including icons, signs and emblems). Ideograms are often easily recognizable alone. For example, the McDonald’s arc is easily identifiable without the necessity to see the word „McDonald’s.“

Although some courseware developers and companies rely on pre-packaged logos, your own design might be the best solution–not to mention the most fun to come up with. Remember, it’s your content and your vision. And in any case, a logo can be very easy to design.

The first step in creating a unique and interesting e-learning courseware logo is to brainstorm. Use up lots of paper, and sketch and write out everything by hand. Large design firms use this system, sketching everything out by hand before even referring to a computer. Sketching is the best way to quickly visualize, imagine and produce your courseware logo.

Once you have your simple and aesthetically pleasing logo design, it’s time to play with it. Try many different things. Experiment with different shades and colors. Try different combinations. Put your logo in many situations, adding text in different positions to find out where it looks best. Try out different fonts and sizes.

Throughout it all, keep your users in mind. Create a logo with a bold and unique e-learning course logo design whose integrity and innovation suits that of the learning management system course itself.
