Photography is a passion for many and for some it is a funny and creative way to pass their free time. Our world is full of exciting things and there is no dearth of finding some interesting and funny subjects which can be photographed! Even the simplest activities of our daily lives can be photographed to make it lively and humorous.

Say for example. the white clouds, they are stuffy yet serene. I have taken fancy on the clouds since I was a little child. Always thought it was the home of fairies. One can always find interesting faces to click. Pictures can be taken of family members when they are in their most natural forms! How would you like to present a souvenir to your sister when she is getting married? Well there are many ideas coming up in my tiny wicked brain. I would love to startle my sister and take a snapshot of her when she has applied the most horrific face masks and then blackmail her for life! Pets can also be funny subjects to shoot. Dogs and cats are adorable animals and you can create magic when you photograph them. You can always shoot them when they are running behind their own tails. Still best, leave them alone with your toddler! The sad little expression will make for a funny picture.

Flowers are one of the most beautiful subjects to shoot. Take your camera and just go to your garden in full bloom. The sight will be awesome. One can take pictures of babies in different postures. Photographs of your footprints on the sandy beaches; the tattooed back of your friend; a beggar asking for some alms are very good topics to choose when you want to get out and shoot for the sheer pleasure of it.

Personally speaking, Christmas has always been my favorite festivals when I would just click my way through. Capturing the snow filled roads, the Christmas tree, children singing carols, Santa’s cute face and the decorations is anything but ordinary. For many people, shooting ice caves, snow capped mountains, glaciers, flowing streams and flora is a hobby. While it may be mundane for us to take pictures of a starry night, yet for others it may be the most beautiful subjects to photograph. In case your children like photography, always give them an opportunity to shoot animals, clowns, gymnasts in a circus.

My parents always handed me a Hotshot camera whenever we went to visit the local circus. It is a place where one can find many interesting and unusual things apart from animals. You can photograph „the lady with a mermaid’s tail“, a snowman and many other similar things. Mother earth is abundant with so many exotic things which can always be photographed. Places of entertainment like the Disney Land, The Underwater Sea World, The Night Safari in Singapore are some cool choices to photograph. 10. Zoos and national parks. 11. Pictures of trains and ships. 12. Pictures of tribes and tribal people. 13. Pictures of soft toys. 14. Photos of lampshades 15. Photos of earthen lamps known as ‚diyas‘. 16. Pictures of weather: rains, snow, blizzards 17. Pictures of shadows on your wall 18. Pictures of tunnels

Photography is an art and one has the complete freedom to take pictures of anything they want. These things need not be something out of the ordinary but they could relate to our day to day lives. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get an album dedicated to your childhood or that of your parents? I have always imagined myself as ‚Rose‘ of the movie Titanic, singing the song ‚My heart will go on“. To tell you the truth, it is one of my fantasies to be clicked in the so called ‚Titanic pose‘! What do you suggest I should do about it? „Well go get shot“ will be your answer.
