Examples of science fiction movies: Blade Runner, Stargate, and Jumper are all in the science fiction movie category. Some of the sub genres include science fiction-parody, science fiction-horror, and science fiction-disaster.
Horror genre films include: The Lost Boys, Fright Night, and Creep Show are good examples of horror movies. Some sub genres of horror movies would be horror-thriller, horror-satanic cult, and horror-comedy.
Thriller Films: Snatch, Layer Cake, and Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels are thriller films. Sub genres for thriller would include espionage-thriller, epic-thriller, or adventure-thriller.
Some westerns you should see would be, Shenandoah, The Magnificent Seven, and 3:10 to Yuma. Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, and Alvin and the Chipmunks are some of the animation films that you can see. A list of classics would have The Godfather, Lawrence of Arabia, and Rear Window.
