Blind Date: Tiresome retread of all-too familiar farcical material by Blake Edwards. Yuppie Willis takes Basinger out on a pre arranged first time encounter, urged that she couldn’t allow alcohol-and instantly gives her champagne. This film is hilarious. This was Willis‘ featuring debut; guitarist Stanley Jordan makes a lyrical appearance. Cast includes Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis, John Larroquette, William Daniels, and Graham Stark. (93 minutes, 1987)
Siege of the Saxons: Vibrant escapism in regards to Baron Arthur’s baby girl trying to guard her empire, and her right to wed the man she selects. Cast includes Janette Scott, Ronald Lewis, Ronald Howard, and John Laurie. (85 minutes, 1963)
Irreversible: „Debatable“ doesn’t start to explain this gross, over the top, rape and revenge story, told in look backs, spotlighting occurrences around the defiling of gorgeous Bellucci. Graphically vicious, even by modern-day guidelines, this hyped up exploitation film characterizes a lengthened rape scene and cruel kill that’s difficult to endure. Cast includes Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel, Albert Dupontel, Philippe Nahon, and Jo Prestia. (95 minutes, 2002)
Curse of the Flyer: Carole Gray is a young patient that has escaped from an insane asylum and ends up with the Delambre family, who are still doggedly trying to make their teleportation device work. Cast Brian Donlevy, Carole Gray, George Baker, Michael Grabam, Jeremy Wilkins, Charles Carson, and Burt Kwouk. (86 minutes, 1965)
Scream 3: As the name implies this is the third movie in the Scream series. Sydney has run away to Northern California, and is in hiding. Back in L.A. they are filming a movie about Sydney’s life. When there are a series of killings on the set of the film, Sydney must return to L.A. and help the cops find the killer.
Big Trouble: Harried coverage sales associate Arkin needs money to send his 3 sons through Yale, so he gets to be engaged with ditsy D’Angelo in a plot to slaughter her loony spouse (Falk). This is pretty stupid stuff, albeit the sardine-flavored liqueur does grant a few giggles. Andrew Bergman wrote the script under the name Warren Bogle. Cast includes Peter Falk, Alan Arkin, Beverly D’Angelo, Charles Durning, Robert Pile, Paul Dooley, Valerie Curtin, and Richard Libertini. (93 minutes, 1985)
Air Force: Archetypal WW2 film, concentrating on archetypal bomber tea. Hard to the abdomen at times „Fried Jap Going Down,“ chimes Tobias after scoring a hit, although commonly stimulating, well finished. Cast includes John Garfield, John Ridgely, Concert Youthful, Arthur Kennedy, Charles Drake, Harry Carey, George Tobias, and Faye Emerson. (124 minutes, 1943)
Good to Go: Forgettable fare in reference to reporter Garfunkel, who’s framed on a rape-slaughter charge. Highlighted are the behaviors of such go-go groups as Redds & the Boys, Trouble Funk, Get rid of Brown & the Mind Scavengers, amid others. Cast includes Craft Garfunkel, Robert Doqui, Harris Yulin, Reginald Daughtry, Richard Brooks, Hattie Winston, and Anjelica Huston. (87 minutes, 1986)
A Time To A Kill: Has the south really changed that much. Black man Carl Lee Hailey’s 12 years old daughter has been raped and murdered by a couple of racist teenage thugs. Carl takes justice into his own hands and kills the two thugs before they are tried. Now racial tensions are very taught as he is put on trial for killing these thugs.
