Network Marketing Companies abound by the thousands. If you type in network marketing into any of the major search engines, you will get thousands upon thousands of results. A lot of people have joined network-marketing programs and made lots of money from their efforts.
Anybody with ambition and energy can probably find a company that suits them and join it and eventually attain financial freedom. However, you must remember that this is a business and you must put forth effort to achieve your goals. Otherwise you may wind up just barely breaking even.
Think about the product. Is it a product that you would use regularly, and freely recommend to your friends? Is it lower prices, more convenient to use than similar products available elsewhere? Finally what about delivery? How much time lapses between the time the order is placed and when the order is received? Find out as much about the company as you can.
Be wary of chain letters, pyramid scams, and ridiculous claims about how much you can make. Be sure to find out exactly what you’re getting for your sign up fee. Make sure the company provides you with professional sales materials and that they’re reasonably priced.
Be sure that the product you are promoting has mass appeal- that is something that all people will want. Does it sell itself? Will people be making a beeline for your website to purchase this product? You should make sure to have such a product because that will make your efforts a lot easier.
Make sure that the program is something that can be easily adapted to sales by mail and the Internet. I suggest that you find something that you can start promoting online, since that is the least expensive method to use.
Of course some people will disagree with me on this point… My suggestion to you would be to create a free newsletter. You also need to create some sort of freebie to get people to sign up for your newsletter.
Once you’ve decided to try your hand at network marketing, and you’ve become affiliated with a company that has a product line that you feel will appeal to most people, and you have your advertising/sales materials, the next thing to do is to determine how YOU want to sell it-will you be selling in person, online, or through the mail?
Avoid programs with complicated commission formulas. This seems to always result in an excuse for NOT paying any commissions to many or, in some cases, all of their distributors.
Avoid plans promoting products not useful to most people, or that cost more than the retail price paid in stores. Also beware of any plan that lets people become distributors without buying a product. This is not fair because most distributors, when given this option, will not buy the product. This results in lost sales all the way down the line.
